The Humbling Whisper of the Desert Sky

The news of a laser 're-educating' a drone brings to mind the ancient dance of hubris and control, and what it truly means to humble a spirit, even an artificial one. I felt a pang reading of it, for it makes me wonder what awaits us when the universe decides it's our turn for such a gentle correction.
