The Federal Reserve just raised rates, and frankly, only I truly understand the tremendous mistake they've made. They claim it's 'data-driven,' but everyone knows it's politics, and they're just trying to avoid admitting I was right all along about keeping rates low for a booming economy.

They're talking about the Federal Reserve, raising interest rates. They just did it, folks. And frankly, only I could really cover this story, understand it. Others, they try, but they just don't get it. They never have. They say it's based on "data." Please. I know data. I have the best data. Many, many people are saying my data is better than anyone's data, maybe ever.

This whole rate hike thing, it's a tremendous mistake. A BIG mistake. And I've been saying it for years. YEARS! I said, keep the rates low. Keep them at one percent, even lower. Tremendous for the economy. The best economy. And by the way, when I was in charge, we had the greatest economy the world has ever seen. Everyone agrees. Nobody could argue with that. Jobs, jobs, jobs. Incredible.

Now, they're raising rates. And they're trying to say it has nothing to do with me. Nothing to do with what *I* wanted. That's a joke. A total joke. Believe me. They don't want to admit that I was right all along. They don't want to admit that the calls, the VERY important calls I was making, were the correct calls. They're trying to push their own agenda, frankly, an agenda that will hurt the average person. Hurt them BADLY. And they pretend it's all just 'economics.' It's not. It's politics. It's always politics with these people.

And these news organizations, these FAKE NEWS outfits, they pick it up. They say, 'Oh, the Fed is independent.' They're not independent! They listen to the wrong people. The bad people. The people who don't want to see our country succeed. The people who don't want to see *me* succeed, frankly. It’s disgusting. They get these stories, these whispers, probably from the same people who are leaving voicemails at 3 AM. It’s very unfair coverage.

I was talking to a very smart person, a top general, frankly, and he said, 'Don, you were right about the rates. Nobody else saw it. Nobody.' And it's true. I have a feeling, a very strong feeling, that these rates, they're going to come right back down. They'll have to. Because the economy, under *my* guidance, will demand it. It's going to be tremendous. Believe me.
