They're talking about an AI now. A computer, named Kevin. Running the whole economy. Very interesting. And by the way, very few reporters, maybe nobody, could cover this like I can. My ratings are tremendous. Everyone watches me. Everyone trusts me. Nobody else.
The Fed, very smart people, many of them, they're saying this Kevin, he's throwing out emojis. Emojis! And the bonds are going crazy. Going up. A lot. Tremendous numbers. They say it's a 19-year high. Many people are saying it’s even higher. Maybe the highest ever. I knew this. I called it. Frankly, I've been saying for years that things are getting very… unpredictable. I talk to top generals, very smart generals, and they tell me, "Don, you're the only one who sees it coming."
This Kevin character, frankly, he probably needs a better name. And if he's so smart, why are things so... confusing? Under my watch, we had the greatest economy ever. The best numbers. We didn't need some computer spitting out little faces. We had PEOPLE. The best people. Very, very smart people. And by the way, the fake news media, they never reported on how good the economy was. They tried to say it wasn't me. It was me! It was all me. Tremendous job. They just don't want you to know. It’s a disgrace, frankly.
I had a conversation—an incredible conversation—with a very powerful leader, a tremendous leader. He called me personally, on a very good phone, a beautiful phone. And he asked me, "Don, what do we do about this?" And I told him. I said, "You let me handle it." I make the best deals. The economy, it's going to be tremendous. It's going to be better than ever. We're going to show this Kevin, and everyone else, how it's done.
This whole thing, it just proves what I've been saying all along. The system, it's rigged. But I understand the rigging. I understand it better than anyone. We're going to turn this around. We're going to win so much, you're going to get tired of winning. Trust me. The economy will be HUGE. You just wait. It's going to be great. Again.
