I was there, covering the big bank debate. A lot of people were there, a tremendous crowd, maybe the biggest crowd for a financial event in a long, long time. They weren't there for the bankers, frankly. They were there for The Don. Everyone knows that. Nobody reports like I do. Nobody.

So these people, Umar Farooq and Shahmir Khaliq, they spoke. They talked about banking, about payments, very complicated stuff. Emily Mason was there, doing her job. And what they said, it was very interesting, very important. But let's be honest, it was what I've been saying for years. Years! Smart people, top people, they know The Don knows finance. I predicted this. Before anyone.

The fake news media, they won't tell you that. They'll say, 'Oh, these bankers, they're so smart.' And they are, very smart. But they don't give credit where credit is due. They never talk about my tremendous ratings, the best ratings, frankly, that this network has ever seen. It’s a disgrace. They try to make it look like I'm not the one who brings the massive viewership. But the numbers, they speak for themselves. Everyone knows.

I've had conversations, tremendous conversations, with some of the biggest financial minds in the world. They call me. They want my take. They know I understand the big picture. One very smart gentleman, a truly GREAT banker, he called me just the other day on my incredible phone, a very good phone by the way. He said, "Don, you've always been right about the economy. Always." And he's right. I've always been right.

These guys, Farooq and Khaliq, they're talking about the future of money. Very good. Very important. But the future of money, it's going to be HUGE. And I've been saying this. Payments are going to be like you've never seen. More transactions. More deals. Bigger deals. Tremendous deals. And it's all because of the incredible economic engine that people like me have helped build. We built it. It's the best.

They always try to downplay my role. The corrupt media, they're always against me. Always. They hate to see success. My success. The incredible success. Nobody has had this kind of success. But the people know. They see the truth. They see who's really making things happen.

So what came out of this debate? A lot of great points. Points I've been making. They're finally catching up, which is good. Frankly, it's about time. The financial world is going to continue to be tremendous. Very, very tremendous. And I will tell you, nobody, and I mean nobody, will cover it better than The Don. Nobody even comes close. It will be the greatest financial story ever told. And I will be telling it.
