Well, Jack, here I am, broadcasting live from the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, or at least it feels like it this morning! This new article, Jack, it talks about ‘March Refreshment.’ And I tell ya, the experts are right. You gotta be careful with that stuff. I remember back in '68, my cousin Barry, he tried to 'refresh' his whole house in one weekend. Ended up painting the dog a lovely shade of puce, he did! *Oh, that dog was a real character.* And then they talk about ‘existential dread.’ Sounds awful, doesn't it? I always thought that was just what happens when the cable goes out during the big game. You know, that sinking feeling? Or maybe it's when you run out of coffee. Yes, Jack, I think that's it. Running out of coffee. This report from the, uh, the 'Institute for Seasonal Self-Service,' they call it. Good folks, I'm sure. Probably the same chaps who invented the self-wringing mop. Truly revolutionary, that was. It reminds me, Jack, of the time we had that big ice storm back in '82. Everyone was trying to 'refresh' their driveways with salt, and next thing you know, all the birds were walking around with little white feet! *Not good for the ecosystem, Jack.* Not good at all. You just can’t rush these things, you know? Like trying to make a good pecan pie. Takes time. Speaking of good things, I want to give a big shout-out to the folks at the local bowling alley, too. They just finished their annual 'Turkey Shoot' tournament, and little Timmy Henderson, only nine years old, he bowled a perfect game! Remarkable! A true American hero, that boy. So you see, Jack, things just sort of... *drift*, don't they? Like a cloud in the sky... *sometimes you just gotta let it be.* Remember, Jack, freedom isn't free, but neither is a good cup of joe!
