SALT LAKE CITY – Social media influencer and lifestyle guru, 'TayTay_Vibes,' is reportedly in negotiations with local law enforcement to ensure all future body camera footage featuring her is professionally edited and color-graded before public release. The demand comes after a recent incident where raw police video, widely circulated online, showed the influencer in what she described as 'unflattering and poorly lit' conditions.
“My brand is built on authenticity, yes, but also on optimal visual presentation,” stated a representative for TayTay_Vibes, who wished to remain anonymous to protect their client’s 'creative integrity.' “The current police body cam standard simply doesn't meet the aesthetic benchmarks our audience expects. We're talking about harsh overhead lighting, unflattering wide-angle distortion, and absolutely no opportunity for a flattering filter.”
According to internal police memos, the influencer’s legal team has proposed a comprehensive post-production workflow, including drone shots for establishing context, a dedicated 'glam squad' on standby for future encounters, and a clause for 'artistic retakes' if initial footage is deemed unsatisfactory. “We believe this collaboration could set a new standard for transparency in law enforcement, while also ensuring my client always looks her best,” added the representative.
Chief Randall 'Randy' Thompson of the Salt Lake City Police Department confirmed receiving the unusual request. “We’re reviewing the feasibility,” he said, adjusting his tie. “Though I’m not entirely sure our budget covers a dedicated 'golden hour' lighting technician for every arrest.”
Critics suggest the move highlights a growing disconnect between online personas and real-world consequences, while fans are already campaigning for a 'TayTay_Vibes: Director's Cut' of the incident.
The department is also reportedly considering adding a 'like and subscribe' button to their official incident reports.
