MALMÖ, SWEDEN – IKEA, the global purveyor of flat-pack solutions and relationship stress, today announced its groundbreaking 'Emotional Baggage' storage line, designed to help customers neatly compartmentalize their unresolved issues, past traumas, and general anxieties.

The new collection, featuring minimalist designs and a surprising number of hidden drawers, promises to offer a tidy sanctuary for the psychological clutter that has long plagued modern households. Early prototypes, such as the 'Regret' under-bed unit and the 'Unfulfilled Potential' wall-mounted cabinet, are already generating buzz among those struggling to find space for their emotional overflow.

“For too long, our customers have been forced to haphazardly shove their deepest insecurities into metaphorical junk drawers or, worse, project them onto their loved ones,” stated Dr. Ingrid Svensson, head of IKEA’s newly formed 'Interior Psyche' design division. “With the 'Emotional Baggage' system, we’re providing a tangible, aesthetically pleasing solution for the intangible burdens of life. Assembly, of course, is still required, mirroring the arduous process of self-reflection.”

Critics, however, question whether simply storing emotional baggage is a healthy alternative to actually processing it. “It’s a brilliant business model,” commented Dr. Arthur P. Finkel, a renowned psychologist. “Why deal with your issues when you can just buy a stylish box for them?”

IKEA representatives confirm the new line will be available next fiscal quarter, alongside a complementary 'Existential Dread' scented candle and a 'Mid-Life Crisis' assembly guide, sold separately.
