NEW YORK – In a move described by industry analysts as both 'bold' and 'inevitable,' Alloy, Inc., has formally announced it will be bringing its 'proprietary AI technology' in-house, entrusting its own human employees with the day-to-day operation of said technology. The decision, lauded as a strategic pivot, means the company will no longer outsource the management of its cutting-edge algorithms to a third party, opting instead for a direct, internal approach.
“For too long, we’ve allowed external partners to interface with our groundbreaking AI, creating a needless layer of abstraction between our vision and its execution,” stated Alloy CEO, Brenda Fjord, in a press release. “By empowering our own highly trained personnel to directly oversee the AI, we anticipate an unprecedented acceleration of client impact and a more robust, proprietary synergy across all verticals.”
Sources close to the matter, speaking on condition of anonymity, suggested the 'proprietary AI technology' in question primarily consists of advanced spreadsheet functions and a particularly aggressive auto-reply email system. “It’s mostly just Excel macros and a chatbot that tells you to clear your cache,” revealed one former consultant. “But they call it 'cognitive optimization architecture.'”
Alloy expects the transition to be seamless, with internal teams already undergoing intensive training on how to click 'save' and restart the server when necessary. The company anticipates this move will revolutionize how it leverages its own assets, finally unlocking the full potential of having employees work for their employer.
