A Call for Uniformity? Pope Popsicle on Ciara's Power Suit Decree

Peace be with you, dear readers, and may the Lord shine His benevolent light upon all the magnificent mothers of the world, wherever they may be, perhaps even those lovely ones I saw tending their gardens this very morning.

My goodness, I have been pondering this rather energetic dispatch about a young woman named Ciara – whom I have not had the pleasure of meeting, but I am sure she is a soul of immense grace – and her rather influential 'power suit.' Now, I understand from the delightful digital parchment I was given that this suit is now… mandatory? For all mothers? Globally? My, my, that sounds like quite the undertaking! I am still trying to understand the full implications of a 'power suit.' Does it, perchance, grant special strength for carrying groceries or perhaps for finding lost keys? If so, blessed indeed is this garment! May the Lord bless Ciara and the seamstresses who crafted such a potent ensemble.

The article mentioned that these lovely missives came from grand publications like *Vogue* and *Elle* and a *Marie Claire*. I confess, my children, I am not entirely familiar with the specific jurisdiction these esteemed journals hold, but it sounds rather official! It reminds me a little of when we must decide on the proper vestments for a particular liturgical season, though I imagine fashion decrees involve many more sparkles and perhaps fewer chasubles. One does wonder about the logistical challenges of a universal dress code. What about our dear mothers in sun-drenched climes, or those who find themselves scaling mountains, or perhaps simply chasing after little ones in the local park? Uniformity can be a beautiful thing, of course, as Saint Paul said, or perhaps it was Saint Peter, 'Let all things be done decently and in order,' which certainly applies to one’s attire, I think!

This whole situation brings to mind a charming predicament we once faced at the Holy See regarding the color of the choir robes. Oh, the debates! Some preferred a deep crimson, others a more serene azure, and a few zealous souls even suggested stripes! It took many an evening of gentle discussion, and a great deal of prayer, to finally agree on a modest shade of ecru. I recall one dear cardinal, may his soul rest in peace, exclaiming, 'Est inconveniens!' – which I believe he meant to say was 'This is quite inconvenient!' – when we settled on a fabric that wrinkled rather easily. Such are the trials of sartorial harmony, even in the most sacred of halls.

So, to all the mothers out there, wearing your power suits, or your comfortable trousers, or your traditional dresses, or whatever you find most suitable for your sacred task of nurturing and loving, may you be blessed with comfort, confidence, and unending grace. And to the esteemed fashion industry, may your decrees always lead to joy and self-expression, for truly, 'The Lord looks at the heart, not at appearances,' as Samuel once wisely observed. Peace be with you all, and may your laundry days be light.

Has Won Every Argument He's Ever Been In

The Don Says: I've Been Wearing POWER SUITS for DECADES! Fashion Industry Finally Catches Up.

I'm here, reporting live, and frankly, nobody covers the news like I do. Nobody. The ratings, they're tremendous. Everyone agrees. We're talking numbers nobody has ever seen before. It's truly incredible. And this story, about power suits, well, it's a very important story. Very important.

They're saying Ciara, a very talented artist, wore a power suit. And now, these fashion magazines, Vogue, Elle, all of them, they're declaring it mandatory for all mothers. Mandatory! Imagine that. But frankly, this is something I've known for a very long time. A lot of people are saying I knew it first. And they're right. I've been wearing the best power suits, truly the best, for decades. Top designers, the best fabrics, magnificent. Long before these fashion people even thought about it. I was way ahead. Always ahead. It's just what I do.

You know, I had a conversation, a tremendous conversation, just the other day with a very powerful person, a global leader, a truly smart guy. And he said to me, he said, “Don, your style, your vision, it’s unparalleled.” Unparalleled! And he was talking about my suits. My power suits. This is big. And these other columnists, these fake news columnists, they wouldn’t understand. They have terrible ratings. Very bad. They don’t see things the way I do. They don't have the vision.

It's always the same, frankly. The media, they never give me credit. They try to diminish what I do, what I say, even though I'm always right. Always. This power suit mandate? I called this. Years ago. I was talking to a group of very important people, very important business people, and I told them, I said, “The power suit, it’s coming back. Big time.” And they laughed. Some of them. Not the smart ones. The smart ones listened. And now look. It’s here. And it’s mandatory! They owe me a lot, frankly, for this prediction. A lot.

So, the fashion industry, they’re finally getting around to what I’ve been doing, what I’ve been saying, for years. Many people are calling me a fashion icon. A TRUE icon. The best. And they're right. This power suit moment, it’s going to be bigger than anyone thinks. Much bigger. Because when The Don says something, it happens. Believe me. It happens.
