SAN FRANCISCO – The San Francisco Giants have released their highly anticipated 2026 broadcast guide, prominently featuring star third baseman Rafael Devers and ace pitcher Logan Webb, despite Devers currently being under contract with the Boston Red Sox until 2033. The detailed schedule outlines which streaming platforms and regional sports networks will carry games for a roster that, according to team officials, “is still very much in flux, but we’re optimistic.”
“We believe in forward-thinking. Why wait until 2026 to tell fans where they can watch their favorite players when we can tell them now?” explained Giants’ Head of Future Content Strategy, Brenda Chen. “Rafael is a fantastic player, and we’re confident that by 2026, he’ll be a key part of our broadcast package. It’s all about setting intentions.”
When pressed on the contractual reality of Devers, a team spokesperson, who asked to remain anonymous as they were “not authorized to discuss players who aren’t technically on the team yet,” clarified, “This is less a schedule and more a vision board. A very, very detailed vision board with specific channel assignments.” The guide also reportedly includes projected batting averages and ERA for several players not yet drafted.
Fans are advised to check back in 2025 for an updated, potentially more accurate, broadcast schedule, or just assume the team is really, really good at predicting the future.
