BALTIMORE, MD — Mount St. Mary's University announced today that its annual 'Women in Sports Day' games will be held at Under Armour Stadium, a move hailed by organizers as a bold step towards integrating corporate synergy with athletic empowerment. The event, designed to celebrate female athletes, will now also serve as a powerful testament to the enduring presence of multinational sportswear conglomerates in every aspect of modern life.

“We believe it’s crucial for young women to see that their athletic dreams can, and should, be inextricably linked to a global brand,” stated Brenda 'Breezy' Carmichael, Head of Corporate Outreach for the university’s athletic department. “What better way to honor their dedication than by playing on a field that literally shouts 'Under Armour' from every blade of astroturf?”

The day’s festivities are expected to include several women’s sporting events, interspersed with mandatory hydration breaks featuring branded water bottles and half-time shows sponsored by various athletic gear lines. A spokesperson for Under Armour, who asked to remain anonymous as they were 'just here to make sure the logo was visible,' expressed enthusiasm for the partnership.

“We’re thrilled to support women in sports, especially when those women are wearing our latest performance fabrics,” the spokesperson added, adjusting a branded cap. “It’s about inspiring the next generation to achieve greatness, and then immediately purchase the footwear endorsed by that greatness.”

Critics, primarily those who believe sports should occasionally exist without a direct transactional relationship, were unavailable for comment, presumably because they were still trying to find a non-branded water fountain.
