PALO ALTO, CA – A new, exhaustive study published today by the Institute for Chronological Consistency (ICC) has definitively concluded that all human beings, including prominent public figures, experience the passage of time at an identical rate. The findings, which researchers described as “stunningly obvious yet apparently necessary,” challenge the popular misconception that a celebrity’s perceived maturity or youthful exuberance somehow alters their biological age.
“For years, we’ve observed a widespread cognitive dissonance where individuals struggle to reconcile the fact that, say, a pop icon known for vibrant, youthful energy can share a birth year with a monarch-in-waiting whose public image is one of staid responsibility,” explained Dr. Evelyn Reed, lead chronometrician at the ICC. “Our data, painstakingly gathered from birth certificates and public records, confirms that 1982 was indeed a single year, and everyone born within it is, in fact, the same age.”
The study cited numerous examples, including the perplexing revelation that Grammy-winning artist Adele and actor Liam Hemsworth, despite their vastly different career trajectories and public aesthetics, are both 35 years old. “It’s almost as if personal branding and life choices don't physically rewind or fast-forward the aging process,” Dr. Reed mused, shaking her head slowly.
Critics of the study have questioned its necessity, pointing out that the concept of a shared timeline is fundamental to human existence. However, the ICC maintains its work is vital for combating what they term 'Celebrity Chronological Exceptionalism.' The institute plans to next investigate whether gravity also applies uniformly to the rich and famous.
